Lastest 2018 Nail Art Design

The magic of wintertime extends far beyond the holidays, with glistening snow and chilly temperatures that bring people together for some cozy company. So we thought, How can we capture this special season ... ON NAILS?

Answer: We asked the talented NYC-based nail artist Savannah Walker to come up with the most outrageous winter manicure imaginable, and did she deliver! In addition to intricate snowflakes and powdery polish that changes from light to dark blue, she added incredible three-dimensional elements to invoke the spirit of the season: a real thermometer, a pinecone and sprig, a jingle bell (pierced right through the tip of the nail!), icy gems, and — our favorite — a working snow globe made from scratch!

We know, we know — this isn't at all practical. Even though our hand volunteer knew she wouldn't be able to go about her normal activities wearing this manicure, she was understandably bummed when we removed the nails. Can you blame her? It's hard not to get in the mood to build a snowman or go sledding after looking at this amazing creation.

IPL Auction 2018: Full & Final List of Sold Players & Highest Paid

England all-rounder Ben Stokes will play for the Rajasthan Royals in the 2018 Indian Premier League after being purchased at auction for almost £1.4 million.

Stokes, who was named as the Most Valuable Player in the 2017 edition of the competition, was signed for 12.5 crore and will play alongside Australia captain Steve Smith with the Royals as well as England team-mate Jos Buttler.

After Stokes, Manish Pandey and Lokesh Rahul were the most costly purchases, with the former joining Sunrisers Hyderabad and the latter acquired by Kings XI Punjab. The Kolkata Knight Riders, meanwhile, spent big on the Australian duo of Chris Lynn and Mitchell Starc.

The squads assembled so far can be viewed on ESPNcricinfo. The auction will continue on Sunday, when the eight rosters will be finalised.

Last season, Stokes became the highest-paid international player in IPL history when he was signed for £1.7 million by the Rising Pune Supergiant franchise.

In the tournament, he made a tremendous century against the Gujarat Lions, hammering a match-winning 103 not out from 63 balls. He also picked up three Player of the Match trophies.

Since the Twenty20 tri-series shifted to New Zealand, beleaguered bowlers have almost looked like bowling machines against blistering batting at the tiny grounds.

On the postage stamp-sized Eden Park in Auckland, the tri-series decider between Australia and New Zealand on Wednesday (February 21) is set for another run-fest with both teams stacked with aggressive batters. An astounding 488 runs were scored between the teams at Eden Park on Friday in an ominous warning for bowlers.

Ashton Agar, Australia's spinner, was the most economical bowler for the visitors with figures of 1 for 24 from 3 overs but said it was the toughest challenge of his T20 career. "Number one [challenge wise], absolutely," Agar told reporters in Auckland on Monday (February 19). "I've played against a few players that have hit me for plenty of sixes before in T20 cricket but I've never played on a ground like this.

"Especially Munro (and Guptill) - they're trying to hit you for six every ball. So, it was pretty interesting," he added.

Unbeaten Australia have thoroughly dominated the Twenty20 tri-series but survived a scare last time when they successfully chased down a record target of 244. Australia's bowlers had earlier been plundered especially by dynamic opener Martin Guptill, who carved a hard-hitting ton.

A confident Australia will go into the finale as favourites but the Eden Park's unique dimensions undoubtedly creates a dose of uncertainty and major headaches for bowlers. Agar said bowlers had to accept they were going to cop some punishment the other night.

"It was a massive challenge but I was pretty relaxed about it," he said. "I'd accepted before the game that if I get hit, I've just got to turn around, keep a smile on my face and try my best the next ball, and that's how the whole team went about it. We might be able to go about it a little bit smarter.

"Just working on our lengths and matching our balls to our fields. If they're hitting us off a really tough length, well played to them," he added. "But some people are going to get away to a flyer here."

Used to the larger grounds in Australia, Agar said it was a challenge for the visitors to make adjustments in New Zealand. "You just look at how short it is straight - you're on the ring and you feel like you're on the fence," he said. "It's a really unique ground and things are going to happen differently here. You've just got to bounce back and keep trying to find ways to slow them down."
